Thanks, Doug, for the correct info. Was his father possibly James Henry Blount (from names of children)? Is this as far back as you go in the genealogy? I shall try to sneak a few minutes to check my records to see what I can find, and if I do come up with something, will get back to you. (We are all in this genealogical "thing" together, aren't we?)
