Thomas BLOUNT (1496-1564) ancestors?

I've traced my ancestry back to Thomas BLOUNT, abt 1496-1564, Sodington, England, but no farther. I assume he's related to Blounts such as Walter Blount, first Lord Mountjoy (1420-1474), or Sir Walter Blount (1350-1403), but I haven't been able to make the connection. Does anyone have any evidence on Thomas's ancestry?
