I have a record of John Thomas Blount (bn Dec 4,1810 d May 24,1871) his father was Joseph Grey Blunt(abt 1764-1824, bn in VA & d in Columbia Co.,GA) J.T. Blount married Louisa Munford Kilpatrick (bn Aug 9,1818 in Putnam Co.,GA &d Nov1,1899) Jt Blount settled in Talbotton Co.,GA. Prob not the same one but prob a relative, you may have some of yr records confused. See:A Partial Genealogy of Richard Blunt I 1611-1656 by Henry M. Shank III,1964. A supplement to Partial Gen. of R.B.I by Martha Blount Lowe, and A Rockaway in Talbot vol.I by William H. Davidson pp 88- 93
