Marilyn, Are you sure about the Jasper A. Blount being m. in 1846? According to his father's will, be was named as one of the two underaged sons, meaning under age 21, if what I understand is correct. A Newton A. Blount m. Carroll Co., MS 17 Jan 1850 Sarah A. Denham; may have been in Pike Co., MS Census of 1850. He appeared in H/H 043, 4th Pol. Dist. In Dwg. #003, 2nd Pol.Dist, were Asa M. Blount, Granberry Blount, & Lydia Blount. There was a George Granbury Blount, b. MS 1826, appearing in the 1850 Census of Carroll Co., MS, with wife Mary Jane (Harvey) & issue: Eleanor Jane, b. 1847 & William R. Blount, b. 1849, both being b. in Winona, Carroll Co., MS. (Ref.: Bible Records of W. R. Pardo, Houston, TX. Review this info. and see if you think it applies. I don't have the census records & my ability to get to the libraries in our area is very limited. Let me know what you think. Am in hopes someone will read this and know who all of these people are. There are so many by the same names and so much confusion has resulted! Thanks.
