I have done some research on the Munjoy genealogy and have gotten as far as to find the name Sir Walter Blount in Devonshire England in the early 14-1500's. Are you familiar with this name?? From what I gather his name was changed either to or from Mountjoy, and then when coming to the USA the name got changed to Munjoy.
Please let me know if you know anything about this man. I am originally from Michigan, and my fathers name was Munjoy. Thanks, look forward to hearing from you
