Correction to previous followup message. Reading Blount's wife's name is unknown. His son, Jesse, married Abigail Salter, daughter of Col. Edmund Salter. When Jesse died after 1786, she married a Mr. Pearce, according to Robert F. Pfafman, author of "Ancestry and Progeny of Captain James Blount -- The Immigrant". Vanlandingham is correct.
