Hi Jane,
The letter written by Mary Blount was in response to my
query re: mixed blood BLOUNTS/BLUNTS.
I would love to be in contact w/you; who knows, we may
somehow be connected.
I am researching my WEEDEN, WHILDEN, WEELDON/BROWN AA/Native tri-racial line of SC, NC, and VA and seemingly,
every state in the nation; have made NO connections YET,
and am especially hoping to find info of my ggrandmother,
CHARATA BROWN, mulatto, born 1833 NC.
Family lore tells of being FPOC coming from England as indentured servants w/VA kin and Indian ancestry, but I am
convinced my ggrandparents were slaves.
Sincerely,
carol wheeldin warren.
