Hugh A. Blount and Philip Blount of N.C.

I am searching for information on these two ancestors born in Robeson County, N.C. Philip Blount was one of thirteen children born to Philip Blount, Sr. and Margaret Shanks of Robeson County. Philip, Jr. was born c.1785, married Catherine McNeill, had five children (Hugh A., John, Jacob, Rachel and Nancy), and later moved possibly to Florida, and may have died in Decatur County, Georgia about 1844.

His son, Hugh A. Blount, was born c.1815 possibly also in Robeson County, N.C., but later lived in Florida, Georgia and Alabama (1830's to 1860's). He had several marriages, including to Constance Witter about 1860 possibly in Covington County, AL. Had several daughters from previous marriage, had two sons with Constance-- Hugh L. and John W., born mid 1860's in AL.
