It has long been oral history in my husband's (Moody) family that Frank Thomas may have assumed the Moody name. My husband is Frank Thomas' grandson.

In the 1910 census Frank Thomas Blunt lives with Harry W. & Addie Moody at the age of 4. (Found this following posting this message.) Then, at the age of 14 his name has become Frank T. Moody.

Perhaps he was adopted . . . (we are not sure if this could be a registered adoption or an assumption of the Moody name).

My husband's question remains: Who is his great grandfather by lineage?

We may have found a surviving half-sister (Moody). Are awaiting response.

Thanks very much for your response and interest.
