The following is what I have on Blounts names READING.
The first READING BLOUNT in the line:
READING BLOUNT (b. ca. 1710~d. aft. 1776) - son of Thomas Blount, Jr. and Ann Elizabeth READING - m. (unknown) - Children: Joseph, READING, JR., Nathaniel, Jesse, Bryan. His sons:
READING, JR (b. ca. 1770~d.) - m.(unknown) - Children: Willie, Edmund, READING
Bryan - m. (unknown)Salter - Children: Miles, Joseph, READING S.
Brothers of READING BLOUNT (b. ca. 1710~d. aft. 1776) - son of Thomas Blount, Jr. and Ann Elizabeth Reading
James, John, JACOB (b. 1726~d. 08/17/1789)
JACOB - m 1st Barbara Gray - Children: William, Ann, John Gray, Louisa, READING, Thomas, Jacob, Jr., Barbara - m. 2nd Hannah Salter Baker - Children: Harvey, Willie, Sharpe - m. 3rd (Mrs.) Mary Adams (no issue). His son:
READING m. Lucy Harvey - Children: Louisa Ann, Mary Harvey (“Polly”), Caroline Jones, Reading Gray, Albert Gallaton, Willie Augustus, Reading, Jr., John Gray Reading Thomas. His daughter:
Caroline Jones Blount m Benjamin Runyon
As you can see, I have two sons - Reading Gray (1799-) and Reading, Jr. (1805-). Can you clear this up? I also have Reading Gray (1799-) and John Gray Reading Thomas (1808-1841) marrying the same woman: Polly Ann Clark (1812-1867). Can you clear this up? Which of the Readings above had a daughter named Caroline who married William Smaw Woodard? I have no other Carolines. Can you fill in any of the “unknown”s I have above?
These are all the Readings I have. Any others?
