Thanks for the response Patty. Our Red Line of Blounts is Chief William John Blount a half blood Koasati or Coushatta. He was born in Creek Country (GA/AL ca 1773) and ultimatly had his reservation in Blountstown, FL. His father was William Blount of NC and TN. We have always followed our Red Family line.
Now, who were your folks? I know the Durant name to be Creek. There has to be a McGillivray hidden in there somewhere!!!!
