Hi Mary,

I've read several of your postings with great interest. I am curious as to whether you know who your original Blount family member is. I have several Blounts, Suttons & Durants in my family from NC & VA. While my family has never discussed the Native blood, they have talked about the family connections for many years. I have a family photo of my 3rd great-grandmother down to my grandmother comprise of approximately 40 family members who all have very distinctive Native features. There is also the list of passengers left at The Lost Colony by Sir Walter Raleigh whereby my family has eight family connections...hence the curiosity.

I appreciate any assistance you may offer and truly impressed by your leadership.

Thank you.
Paty
