After seeing this post I dug in a little more because these two are in my family line too. I found out some info:
Polly Carey was born in 1812 in NY. All of their Kids except Emma were born in NY, Emma was born in Michigan. The family was in Michigan for awhile before returning to NY. They show up on the 1850 Census for Hillsdale County, MI. The census shows Pollys first name was really Mary. Daniel (18yrs old), Sarah (16), Seymour (14), Rachel (12), Moses (8), Mary E (6), Elias (4), Elisha (2). Elias may have been in 111th NY Infatry for the Civil war but haven't been able to confirm its the same man. Polly Carey is buried in North Shelby Cemetery in NY. She was born in 1812 and died 1/15/1891. The 1892 Census Shelby NY has Charles Amos Christopher and Emma Blounts family listed. The 1880 Shelby NY census has Polly Blount listed on it. From grave transcriptions Ive been able to determine that her parents are Daniel Carey and Rachel Conley.

One of their children was born in Phelps NY in Ontario County, I haven't been able to get my hands on any of the census there to check it out.

This is all the info Ive been able to find so far. If you have any information on the family I would love to learn more on them.
