You have your James Koen Blounts mixed up. The James Koen Blount that died in Washington County AL in 1874 was married to a Moore (possibly Sarah). James Koen Blount's brother John Thomas had a son also named James Koen (1832-1918) that married Lydia Moore (1833-1907) who is buried in the Blount Cemetery in Llano County, Texas. Their father Frederick married to Miorum Koen came to Washington County AL from Nixonton, Pasquotank County, North Carolina in the 1830s. I have never been able to find parents for Frederick and I don't believe the Frederick Blount married to Mary Williams is correct.
