Thank you for your post!! I ran across something interesting when I was looking at this forum earlier this month. It was in a Robinson Family Forum.
It said that a Malinda Hinshaw married William Russell Robinson in Illinois (possibly McLean Co. They had six children:
Elizabeth Adams Summerfield
Larkin Robinson
Jasper Robinson
Polly Ann Tucker
Mary Jane Dayhack
Newton Robinson
William Robinson died died March 23, 1843 in McLean Co., Illinois.
Malinda married (2nd) Henry Blount,Sr. 1845. They had issue Henry Blount, Jr. and George Blount.
There was also a post by Kathy McClain Hutto saying she was searching for the lineage of George Washington Blount b. Nov. 9th, 1853. She says he left Charlotte,NC in the 1870's bound for Ladonia, Tx where he married M. Hinton. SHe also says that in his line of descendants there are many twins and natural triplets. It also says he either had a daughter (or granddaughter) Lydia Blount who was an albino.
