Looking for additional info on this James Blount, from Tyrrell County, that settled in the Bladen/Duplin/Sampson area around 1753. Believe this is the James Blount that was the father of my Redding Blount. Eme Frayer was his mother.
I wonder if this is the same James Blount that received a land grant in Washington Co., GA in 1794?
