Acording to Hellen Prescot's "Blount & Blunt Family Tree" his father was Reading Blount b-Abt. 1711 in [Bertie], NC and d-Aft. November 27, 1776 in [Beaufort] NC. He married a Miss Bryan. Source for birthdate Kyle Vanladingham < kylesv@ktc.com >, source for deathdate old will book 128 Beaufort NC abstr.
