Kyle, Thank you for the reply, Sir Humphrey and his Son Sir Thomas both took part in the battle of 1461, but unlike Sir Walter, his cousin they did not play a major part therefore they were not given perks by Edward as was Walter, ie lord Mountjoy. Johanna Horne daughTer of Sir Geoffrey Horne of Horne's Place Appledore in Kent married Sir William Haute of Hartsbourne in 1473 in Horne's Chapel, and he died in 1497. When Horne's place was seized by Elizabeth 1st my ancestor in the family had already taken Sarsden House in Oxfordshire John Horn became Sherrif of Oxon & Berks & married the widow of Richard Blount Elizabeth de la Forde. So when the Herald Richard Lee visited Sarsden House he recorded 40 arrangements of Arms which included Blount,Beauchamp of Hache, John de Ayla of Hispania and many familes of Kent & Other counties that mattered. It is better to confer on E mail <geoffrey.horne@ukonline. co.uk> Best wishes, Geoffrey Notify Administrator about this message?
