Hello-
I have been trying to find a link beyond Dr. William Irby who came to Virginia from England in middle 1600's. He had three sons, two of them were doctors: Dr. William Irby Jr and Dr. Joshua Irby Sr, and the last son: Edmund Irby Sr.
I copied this information from rootsweb.com by Laura Irby that Dr. William Irby Sr married to a female whose last name is Blunt. I found other entry posted by Juanita Long that the last name of Blunt was mispelled, it was supposed to be Blount and the name came from a family of Barons and is directed to Mountjoys in England.
Dr. William Irby's son Edmund Irby Senior was married to Ann Blount. Ann Blount's parents were Thomas Blount and Priscilla Browne. Thomas Blount's parents were Richard Blount and Mary Flood. These info I got from familysearch.org. I am not sure if Ann Blount is related to the wife of Dr. William Irby.
I have been trying to locate Thomas Blount's siblings to see if there is any possibility of one of them married to Dr. William Irby and identify the wife of his.
