Jean,

I have a brief and imperfect abstract of the Ann Wilson will:

"Name on will is Anne Willson, will filed in Surry County, Virginia: To Robert Wilson and Ann Wilson, son and daughter of Isaac Wilson and Ann Wilson and his first wife Ann (Whatever belongs to me in Surry County and whatever belongs to me except in Carolina). Will filed July 21, 1702, probated November, 1702. (Surry County Deeds, Wills Etc. 5, -book 1694-1709, page 248 b."

Thank you for the abstract of the 1715 Chowan NC deed from William and Ann Wilson. It certainly appears to confirm that Thomas Blount's daughter Ann was married to William Wilson.

And, yes, Thomas Blount was a staunch member of the Church of England and was a founder of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Edenton, NC.

Kyle
