CORRECTION re: James Blount to Thomas Blount

Please correct my statement that it was James Blount that married Elizabeth Whitmel (Whitmell) in 1736 in NC. I believe that it was Capt. Thomas Blont whom she married and there were two children: Winifred Blount wh omarried Whitmel Hill and a second child Joseph who died as an infant. I would like to know more about this family and in particular Elizabeth Whitmel and her subsequent marriage to William Williams. Is there anyone out there that can confirm her children by this third and final marriage to William Williams?

And, please forgive my error?
