Tom, IM not sure where my Jesse Fields Blount came from other than Tennesse. I still don't have info earlier than that,My Dad told us a story when we were small about
his anscestors comming in a boat all they had to eat were
Potatoes.one man did something wrong they had him by himself. All they would feed him were the peelings.
he was the only one to live.
This could have only been a fairy tale. But I cannot be sure.
What info do you have?
I have Jesse Blount married Christiana Hight book of marriage records Hardeman Co. Tenn. September 7, 1840.
Their Children

Thank you for any info.
