Info on Fredrick Blount, born in England. Family lore says he came to US with his family, including daughter Artimisia, and settled in north central Michigan among the Chippewas in the late 17/early 1800s. He had masses of curly red hair, and the Chippewa gave him the name Red Cloud; this is the name he went by. Email PowersArt@aol.com. Thanks.
