Levi Blount was the son of Edmund Blount, Jr. and Hannah Fagan, grandson of Edmund Blount and Elizabeth Friley, great grandson of Benjamin Blount and Elizabeth Everett, and great great grandson of Thomas Blount and Mary Perry. They had at least four children: Levi Jr., Wilson, Wiggins, and Elizabeth. Wiggins (1798-1850) Lee’s Mill Township, Washington County, NC married about 1830 Elizabeth “Betsy” Clifton and they had at least five children: Edward F. and Joseph Wheeler Blount, twins born 1831, Alfred, Hester A., and Levi.
