James Koen Blount was born to Frederick & Miorum Blount about 1799 in North Carolina. He cannot be the son of Frederick Spaight Blount who was born about 1808. I have tried the suggestions that Kyle VanLandingham posted but to no avail at this time. There are several of us searching for this Frederick. He moved to Washington County, AL in the 1830s, his father came shortly after to AL. Frederick and Miorum had James Koen, Sarah Elizabeth (married Stokely), Nancy (married Smith), John Thomas, Joseph and probably 2 more daughters and 2 more sons.
I have the docket copy of the wills of Frederick and James Koen filed in Washington County AL.
John Thomas is my gggrandfather. He married Clarissa Cartwright.
