I have a Hugh Blunt of North Carolina, son of James Blunt and Penbroke Powers He married on 21 Aug. 1806 Jamey (Pheme) Powers of South Carolina, dau. of Michel and Maria Corbett Powers. Marriage took place in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Then, I have another Hugh Blunt, born 1822 (don't know where) died 1877 in Louisiana. I think these men are relatives, but so far and except for the common name, I have found no common kinship.
