My side of the Blount family still lives in Decaturville, TN. My Grandfather was Richard Blount and I believe hi father was Joe Blount. William Blount was appointed as Governor of Tenn. by George Washington and our family also comes form him.

If I get more info, which I am trying to get from my Aunt in Tenn. I will pass it on to you.
