Guide to www.ancestry.com to reach the Blount ancestry through Clodius (my error), not Clodamir.
Go to Ancestry web site.
In first name enter Ratherius
The first ten entries will come up after you select the total shown. Go to the 8th entry and then work backward through the parents. You will find Clodius King of the West Franks born 6 A.D. Died 20 A.D. and then keep going back through each parent. It is not easy, but Ratherius is the best key.

Forward to Charlemagne and then the marriage of his son Louis's daughter, Ermegarde, I believe, to the Lorraine family leads to the first Blount through the 3rd Count of Guisnes
