One of the four that negotiated with the British to establish that country.
Recently established ancestry of Owen Family/Blount through McDougall's mother, Hannah Matthews, ascending Rhoda Church, Rhoda Bush,
Orpha Williams, Mary Owen, daughter of John Owen II of America
Any help would be appreciated, especially Mary Owen's mother-in-law, Nathaniel Williams
