Shirley, I couldn't tell of any differences in our information. It is the same Thomas Blossom. Our lines separate there though, since your ancestor is Elizabeth but my ancestor is her brother, Peter who married Sarah Bodfish. I listed only the child that I am descended from in that list so it spans 9 generations. I was wondering though, if you have this information on Thomas since you didn't mention it: He was a "Separatist" and went to Leyden, Holland to be able to have religious freedom in worship. He then tried to go to America in 1620 with his son. He was on the ship called "Speedwell" that was to travel with the Mayflower. It started to tip in the harbor and had lots of problems. They decided it was unseaworthy so many of the occupants crowded onto the Mayflower and left for America. Thomas and his son were of the few that went back home. He later wrote William Bradford about the troubles they were having in getting to America. He talked of losing his son who had been with him on the Speedwell and I think their other child died also. He seemed to be a personal friend of Williams. His letter or letters are in the Bradford letters book, I believe. I have a copy of one or two of his letters that were written after the death of Pastor John Robinson. The Blossom family was finally able to come to America in 1629 on the second Mayflower. By that time, they had two more children. William Bradford talks of Thomas dying in 1632 or 1633 of an infectious fever. Did you have all that information? I read some of it from a library book that I no longer have but I think I have the facts straight.
