I think your question could be answered by a book now digitally online at BYU Family History Archives:

The ancient family of Palmer of Plymouth Colony : and the forebears and descendants of Mayflower ancestry of the son of Capt. John Palmer of Little Compton, Rhode Island, William Palmer.

It gives the relationship between William Palmer and Thomas Blossom's daughter Frances, as well as Henry Rowley and Anne (nee Helsdon) Blossom. Lots of good facts!

Go to http://www.lib.byu.edu/online.html, then choose Family History Archive. I don't know how many Palmers there are under the Surname option, but there are very few Blossoms, so use the Blossom surname to quickly find the above book.

Good hunting!
