I have found quite a bit of good info on the Bloomfields in Woodbridge, Suffolk, England. There were numerous spellings incl. Blumfeyld, Blumfeld, etc. My materials were copied out of the books at Allen Co. Library in Ft. Wayne, IN. One book discusses the Bloomfield who was former mayor of London, and one who was in Cromwell's army, etc. Some of the history goes back to 1300-1400's. I can send copies just for the mailing and copy cost of .10/ page. The info follows the Bloomfields who left Suffolk, UK abt. 1650, to Barnstable MA and then to Woodbridge, NJ. Let me know if interested.
