I am seeking information regarding a possible Bloomfield connection in my family tree. My ancestor, Bloomfield Lake was born 1857 in Amwell, Hunterdon Co, NJ.
I've always assumed it is a surname, used as a first name.
Does anyone have info regarding a Bloomfield marriage to Lake, Snook, Danberry, Swallow, or other Hunterdon, Somerset Co families that would have passed this name along to a descendant?
