Sandra,

My reference for Tamsie Axson having been the wife of John Bloodworth is as follows: INDEX OF NORTH CAROLINA ANCESTORS,
North Carolina Genealogical Society, Raleigh, NC, 1981: 18
The marriage has been used for many years of Bloodworth research, probably more tradition than provable.

Do not confuse the William Bloodworth of Edgecomb County with the Bloodworths of New Hanover County. There has not been any proof put forth, that I have seen, that they are related.
The children of William Bloodworth went to Tennessee, not Georgia. The Thomas Bloodworth who married Tamsa Proctor was the son of John, not William.

These families have been studied and discussed for some years on this forum. You might want to skim back through
past messages to help you separate the two families.
