Jackie, Am just now seeing you message from Dec. 07 about Frances Fryer and Samuel Bloodworth. I think that this Samuel Bloodworth was the son of James Bloodworth and Ann Poitevent.
From my research I found that Samuel was first married to a Mildred. She died May 1803 in Wilmington. Then he married Frances Fryar 15 Oct. 1804. This differs from your date of marriage. After the father James' death, all but one of the family went to Natchitoches, LA. Samuel seems to have joined them there about 1812. There is a record of his signing a document in Natchitoches before 1820. In 1821 he was mentioned in the succession of his mother's (Ann Bludworth) estate as deceased. The family changed the spelling of the name to Bludworth. Samuel had one son, John, from his first marriage. I haven't found any children from his second marriage. Hope this helps.
