Hi Jim,
I find this very interesting. I was bored at work today and did a google search on my name and found this site. My 4th great grandfather was also James Bloodworth. (We know the name as Bloodworth). I know that because of a family tree project I did for school many years ago. But all that information I had was lost.
I knew that he was a convict, and came out to Australia on the first fleet. He was sent across on the ship called charlotte. But I did not know what he was tried for.
I am 27 and living in Sydney, Australia. I would be decended from his new family that he made in Australia. I have very few relatives from this side of the family, and the only male that I know that can carry on the name here :)
