According to census records (1900-Marion Co., GA and 1920 Macon Co., Ga), Jesse was born in 1890 not 1882. He was 10 years old in 1900 and living with his parents, E. G. and Emily Bloodworth in Marion Co. E. G. and Emily had been married for 15 years and Jesse was their only child living, although Emily had 4 other children, from a prior marriage/relationship. In 1920, Jesse and Leona are married and he is 30 years old, again making his date of birth 1890. There were four others in the household: Lula May (daughter) age 5, Clarence P. (son) age 3, Jessie L. Jr. (son) age 2 months and last Emily age 80 (Jesse's widowed mother). Does anyone know who E. G. Bloodworth was? What do the initials stand for and who were his parents?
