Seeking any info, parents, siblings, of William D. Bloodworth B. 1831 Randolph Co., GA. Raised in Henry Co. AL, then in 1860 was working on a farm in Macon Co., GA. In 1861, he enlisted in Titus Co. TX and served CSA till captured in 1864. He was POW at Camp Morton IL and then exchanged from Point Lookout, MD in 1865. He returned to Macon Co., GA and married Nancy Amerson in 1867. All their children were born and raised in Taylor Co., GA. William moved to Bibb Co., GA in the late 1890's and died there in 1914. Family tradition is that his middle name was Dillard, but no proof of that has been found.
There are two Bloodworth's that may have been his father: Arnold E. Bloodworth b. 1795 in either SC or NC, or John A. Bloodworth b. ca 1800. Arnold was a surveyor in 1830 in Randolph Co., GA, and both he and John A. were in Henry Co. AL 1840-1850.
