I do not (to my knowledge) have either a Deloach or Bloodworth line in my family. However, I do volunteer lookups in some Edgecombe Co. NC record books that I own. Occasionally, when I find a number of records that show relationships, I post them on the appropriate genforum boards with the hope that they may help other researchers. Below are the results of a request for Bloodworth - Deloach records.

1765       9 Nov. Samuel Ruffin, Sheriff of Edgecombe Co., to James Gray of same, at public sale for 27 Proc. money a tract of 373 acres on the south bank of Tyancoca Swamp adjoining William Hacher and John Streator, sold as the property of Charlton Streator at the instance of Mary Deloach and Francis Griffis. This tract was a Granville grant to John Streator, decd, bearing date Oct. 24, 1760, and descended to said Charlton Streator as his immediate heir at law. Acknowledged in open court. DB D, p. 262.

1767       4 Apr. Wm. (X) Griffis and Wm. Bloodworth were two of the witnesses on a deed from Henry Tanton to Aquila Sugg. DB C, p. 452

1767       10 Apr. Thomas Bloodworth was one of the witnesses on a deed from John Hall to Benjamin Richardson. DB C, p. 506.

1767       15 Jul. Solomon Bracewell of Edgecombe Co. to his son, William Bracewell, and to his daughter, Elizabeth Bracewell, for love and affection all that legacy devised unto his former wife, Mary, by the last will and testament of her father, Samuel Deloach, decd., to be equally divided between them. The legacy consisted of an one-fourth interest in two negro women and their increase from the date of the death of the testator until the death of his widow, Mary Deloach.
