Thanks for your reply Fiona. I will chew throgh what you have sent. It is difficult for me in Australia to chase things in England, since relatives are mostly all gone.
My dad would be the nearest to the unknown but he never saw his Grandfather or Grandmother and his memory is not at all good now (He is nearly 80.
Have you been to the Records office in London. I would love to get their ! but not sure how to go about getting help via the mail ...and at what cost ? I understand they have it all !
