The research on the Bloodworths is fascinating as it pertains to the Lord Mayor of London controversy. Would birth records indicate an illegitimate son? Not necessarily a son of Thomas Bloodworth, Lord Mayor, but of one of his sons? Alas, our family also has this Lord Mayor story as part of our history.
