A letter written by my gg-uncle, one "Doctor" John Bloodworth indicates that he knew that O.H.B. Bloodworth, a lawyer and judge was a 3rd cousin. Unfortunately I only have "Doctor" John's father with any reliability: John Attison Bloodworth b1792? (1st wife, ?) + William + John + Edmond + James Lamar ++ "several sons. New Orleans?" (2nd wife,Mary Ann ?, b1814) + Miles b ?, Crawford CO,GA ++ Molly, b1866, m ? Smith ++ Fanny + Henry Dekalb (b8/28/1841 AL) ++ Forest Theophilus (1877-1886) ++ Bascom Webster (full tree known) ++ Hughey Inman (full tree known) ++ Corrinne Adele (full tree known) ++ Henry Dekalb Jr (1884-1893) + Zach ++ ?,Male + Hillard ++ John T + "Doctor" John b4/11/1855, m Julia Ann Wells 1880 (full tree known) + (unknown female) m. William H. Helton If this assertion is true, from what I have been able to determine about the ancestory of O.H.B. Bloodworth, the following hypothetical tree emerges: Timothy (m Margaret Evans) + John b 1730 ++ Thomas +++ Thomas Stokely Morgan ++++ Oliver Hazzard Bartow + Timothy or David or James ++ Unknown Son of one of above +++ John Attison ++++ "Doctor" John I am seeking information on the other sons of Timothy so that I might prove this one way or another. Can anyone help? -- Eric
