Ron: Per Caroline's C.S.A Widow's Pension Application in 1903 in Laurens Co., GA. She was born 11 Oct 1834 in Fulton, GA. and married Wm. D. Bloodworth 11 Oct 1857. She also states he was born 03 July 1804 in Wilkinson Co., GA, and that he enlisted in 1861 in Carroll Co., GA. This also states he died 07 April 1875 in Wilkinson Co. , GA.
Obviously she was not his first wife, since he had at least 5 children born before their marriage, but have no record of who 1st wife was. In 1830 & 1840 he was in Wilkinson Co, in 1850 was in Twiggs Co., GA. Children were James b. 1826, Samuel b. 1830, Martha b. 1833, Hortense, b. 1836, & Emma b. 1839. I also have no proof of who William's father was,it could have been Henry Bloodworth, or William Bloodworth, or Samuel Bloodworth.!!
Only reason I know the above is because my husband's great-g'pa was William D. Bloodworth b. 1831 in Randolph Co., GA ( and with the obvious name similarity looked at your William D. fairly closely).
