Dear Dallas,

My mother was a Bloodgood, and by luck I found your message about Capt. Bloetgoet. I too am a descendant of Francis by way of his son John Bloodgood (d. 1715) who married Mary Morgan. John and Mary had William B. Bloodgood (1698-1756) who married Mary Gach. William and Mary had Moses Bloodgood (1736-1777) and married Elizabeth Foord. Moses was a Minuteman in the Revolutionary War. Moses had a son William Bloodgood (1760-1814) who married Mary Bingle. William had a son named Lewis Bloodgood (1785-1823) who married Catherine Van Ness Galiff. Lewis had a son named, Abram Sanford Bloodgood (1821) who is my great great grandfather. Until the last few weeks we were unable to trace any further than Lewis, Abrams father, so this is all new to me.
I would appreciate any information that you have on our common ancestors as well as information of my branching family that you can dig up. I am hoping that I can locate a copy of the book you refered to, or get a copy of the pertinent information.
