Lolly,
The Bloodgood Genealogy, Vol II states that Lewis married Catherine Van Ness Califf. Who "died in 1942 aged 53yrs,9 mos, 22 das., near Nichols, NY.". Some family records show her name as Carliff. It goes on to say that Jason, a son of Lewis, wrote a very interesting letter to his son Clarence on 10-16-1896 an excerpt of which follows, "Catherine's mother was a Stewart from Dublin who lived at Cherry Valley at the time of the indian raid during the French and Indian war and was taken prisoner at 14 yrs. of age". She first married an Englishman who came over as an officer in the war. Hope this is of some help.
