My gg Grandmother was Martha BLOOD, b. 4-Sep-1857 in Ohio, m. George Hall LISLE 3-Oct-1878, d. 29-May-1942. Her parents were Samuel BLOOD and Margaret MEYERS. Samuel BLOOD emigrated from England and settled in Alton, OH where he owned a Hotel called, "Ye _____________ Inn" and the dinner bell from that establishment is still in my family, now at the home of my parents in Penticton, British Columbia, Canada. My great grandmother believed that he died in Alton.

Does anyone know more about my BLOOD family?
