Obituary from the Randolph [NY] Register of 3 Aug 1951.
Funeral services for Coldspring township’s oldest woman, Mrs. Jeanette Blood, widow of Daniel Blood, were conducted Monday at the home of her youngest daughter, Mrs. Lynn Horton. Mrs. Blood, who was 94, and the last of a family of ten children, was born October 25, 1856 in Randolph, daughter of Henry and Rumina Scudder Berray. A year and a half after her marriage to Mr. Blood on March 16, 1876, they bought a farm on the Blood Road and lived there for more than 60 years.
[Rumina Jeanette Berray was the daughter of Henry Luther Berray (1812-1899) and Rumina Scudder (1820-1894); Henry was the son of Seth Berray (1764-1847) and Anna Goodrich (1774-1860)]
