Thank you for replying. It is a puzzle. Familysearch.com has a Nathan Putney marrying a Hannah Blood in 1812 so I was grasping at straws.
All I know about my Nathan Putney is that he was married to a Hannah at least by 1827 in New Hampshire. I don't know what became of him, but Hannah b.c. 1790, was still in Washington, NH at the time of the 1860 census. I just thought there might be a connection.
Another brick wall.
