I have this will of Marah. I thought you had something from Shelby Co. that I had missed somehow. If you check the late 1870s City Directories for Nashville, you will find Clarence and "Mollie" Blood listed. He was a tailor. She is listed as a widow in the latter directory. She and Charles and Ellen (Ellen Thomas "Nell") are listed on 1880 Davidson Co., Tn census. I have not found Clarence on any census or records in Shelby Co. or any other place in TN. Family stories were that he worked for the Memphis Avalanche Newspaper, but he was a tailor, as was Marah's father, Larkin Duke Fisher. She was living in Drew CO., Arkansas, before her marriage to Clarence. Stories were that he died on a steamboat explosion on the Mississippi River. That is quite possible, but these accidents were so frequent that the passengers are never listed in newspapers unless they were well known. How are you connected to this family?
