The one I got was "The story of the Bloods, incl an acct. of the early gen. of the fam. in Amer. in geneal. lines from Robt. Blood of Concord &; Richard Blood of Groton [Mass.], by R.D. Harris. 201p. 1960." I knew it would have some information because my mother helped gather information back in the late 50's.
Not sure I can help you decide about the book but I bet there are folks on this list that can tell you.
I am descended from 6 generations of Nathaniel Blood's. My family moved away from New Hampshire in the late 1700's. They then ended up in Wisconson, Iowa and Minnesota. The hardest part of finding out my ancestors was the leap through the 1800's. Once I connected with the original families it was much easier. I got most of my information on ancestry.com.
I would love to explore the Ms. and NH. area. I bet it is rich iwth Blood history.
Happy searching. Jane
